This new rainbow design is hand-carved and painted on a white backdrop. The handles and butts are unglazed, but sanded to a smooth finish. The outside and inside of the mug have a thin, clear glossy coat on them. Because of this, the edges of the rainbow triangles can be a bit pokey on the hands, but won't cut you unless you try reeeeally hard.
